More presents!!!

While in Spokane we celebrated Drew's 32nd birthday, in a big way--see photos below!

Drew and I are ecstatic to be expecting #2. This one is due March 1st, amazing to think Ben will be 2+ years old then. Thank you everyone for your excitement and support!

Summer Weddings

In the last two weeks we traveled to Yakima and Mt. Rainer for weddings! We caught up with long time friends in Yakima (90+ degrees when the ceremony started!) and it was a beautiful wedding and evening. Jenny and Eric got married in Ashford, near the base of Mt. Rainer. I hadn't been to that area of Washington before and I absolutely loved it. The views were amazing and constant. Sunday morning while making breakfast a doe and a fawn bounced by our window. We were completely taken care of the entire weekend by the Schiffner family. We had a lot of great food, laughs, and moments with great friends and family.

One of a few trips to the zoo this summer...

A night at the Ballpark

We went to the Mariner's Game with Jenn, Al, and Owen. Wish I had a picture of all of us. The weather was great, the boys kept all of our neighbors entertained (we were thanked for bringing them to the game by the grandmas above and below us), and the M's won!

Having fun

Ben loves to walk dogs, poor Buddy, we visited for a week. It looked like Ben was waterskiing mostly, Buddy may be old but he moves quick.

Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon

We did it! And, it was a beautiful day and a really good run. Jenn and I had a great time doing it together, but it was an adventure. We didn't sign up in time, 25,000 people beat us to it. So, we ran under the aliases of Marcus and Heather who ended up not being able to do it. The drop-off site on I-5(whose idea was that?) was backed up for miles so we hopped out of the car on I-5 and headed to the start. The route was mostly shady, hills weren't awful, and the 4-6 bands we heard were ok. Our 10min. mile pace was apparently on schedule with the band breaks so we missed out a bit.:( The end was great for obvious reasons but we had fans waiting for us with cool signs--thanks mom and Jenn for coordinating! Thanks Jenn for doing it with me even though some thought you were crazy. And, thanks Mom and Dad for getting us to the start and cheering us on at the end.

This is our newest problem--climbing. Ben can now climb on to pretty much any chair, it is the getting down part that is yet to happen gracefully.

Dr. Drew and Soccer Mom

This picture needs explaining...for the celebratory "boards are over" kegger we to come as Athletes & Dentists. We chose athletes, but we went as each other--so yes, Drew is wearing my green running shorts. Our nametags that night were Dr. Drew and Soccer Mom.

Ben and boards are over...

We had to celebrate once boards were over--a lot of stress for those guys and gals. Al, Jenn, and Owen came over to help celebrate. Owen still has the CUTEST chubby, hanging cheeks and Ben still loves to be in Owen's things, i.e. the carseat. The last two pictures are just Ben taking it easy.
