Ben's favorite book these days has been Make Way for Ducklings. Last week I snapped this picture of him reading it to himself while I was getting ready. And every night for the last few weeks it has been his first pick to read before bed. Today we were at Chateau St. Michelle and came across this family of ducks. I thought they were so sweet so took their photo. Tonight we read Make Way for Ducklings and then while talking afterwards, Ben told me he saw "momma Mallard" and "the ducklings" today. I absolutely love the idea of Ben seeing his favorite characters in real life!
Later that day we bbq'd with friends that have a newly purchased bounce house (famously huge hit) and a water table (from last summer) that inspired a water fight between Ben and Kendall.
